I have been quilting since 2007, and you can see some samples of my past work in the photo galleries. Please keep in mind that pictures can never do justice to the real thing; the texture of quilting needs to be seen and touched to be fully appreciated. All of my projects are machine pieced and quilted on my Baby Lock Designer's Choice sewing machine, and finished with a hand-sewn binding.
In 2015, I began painting scaled-down barn quilts. These are usually based on traditional quilt blocks and painted on framed plywood using exterior latex paints so they are suitable for hanging outside. Although authentic barn quilts (actually hanging on a barn) are usually 8' square, most of the blocks I paint are 24" x 24" or smaller. They make interesting and unusual artwork, indoors or out, on homes, sheds, fences or wherever you want to see a little more color.
